Why? I don't know why. How? I know how. This is how this came about. Want to hear a scary story? Daisy's Scary Story My own kids & nephews grew up being face painted and loving all the fun clown stuff. They were so cute and they had lots of clown parties. They loved the choices we have to choose from on our face paint charts and balloons, etc. But they grew up. One afternoon my nephews begged me to be painted like monsters. After much begging Aunt Debbie finally painted the first two pictures you saw above. A Zombie and Skull!! They were so happy. A year later after much, much, much begging and being very descriptive about what they wanted painted, Aunt Debbie painted the next three ugly, yucky, scary faces pictured above. After practicing for over a decade to paint more and more beautiful faces. I tried to paint ugly. I hated it. I also hated the fact that I was kinda good at painting bad. Boo Hoo Hoo I used the special "face safe" glue in my face paint kit that is used to put beautiful gems on little girls. But, did you know if you paint cornflakes and glue them on they look like scabby dead skin? Yep! The boys loved it! Oh they had to call the neighbors and go show them. They crawled and limped around the house. They wanted pictures taken! They had a blast being ugly and scary! Well, That's my story and I'm stickin to it! OK! We'll do it for you too. Under certain circumstances only! We aren't clowns at an ugly scary party. No children under age 8! NONE! This is not a family type party where you invite the grandparents and all the family. This is a very ugly scary party. We are in the business to bless children with fun and we don't want something introduced to young children they are not ready for. It is also not fun for a parent to see their child's face half torn off and not know it is paint that washes off! The kids get painted. You take pictures and provide them with a picture. The kids can have all the gruesome fun they want at your house. They must wash it off before going home! You may not agree or understand but these are our guidelines. Also, as a personal choice we choose not to paint devil or witch faces. This type of painting takes a lot of time. Much longer than our regular face painting. We have purchased different types of equipment and products. (Fake blood, latex glue, latex paint, spiders to glue on, etc.) If scheduling permits we like to send out a team of two people so we can get done faster for you. This is not a cheap party either.
